To meet the ongoing demand for loans, NELT welcomes more investment funds.
To date has made more than 156 loans totalling more than $1,426,000 to small businesses in the Nelson-Tasman region. Of these less than 1% have defaulted. This successful record has enabled NELT to generate more than 84% of its running expenses and brought NELT closer to its target of being financially independent That said we still need some grant assistance each year.
