"To meet the ongoing demand for loans, NELT welcomes more investment funds.
To date has made 127 loans totalling more than $989,000 to small businesses in the Nelson-Tasman region. Of these only one, for $5,000 has defaulted. This successful record has brought NELT close to its target of being financially independent i.e. without needing grants for administration.
Investments currently attract 7.25% pa Needless to say if you are willing to accept less than current rates, it would help us achieve our goal of financial independence sooner.
Any help would ensure that we are able to continue offering loan finance to small businesses including those unable to get funding from banks.
